Yes, all elected Convention Delegates and National Officers will need to register to attend Convention. If you haven’t already done so, click here.
The Deadline to register is October 18, 5:00 pm PT/8:00 pm ET.
We need you to register to receive your personalized Convention Registration ID (password) so you may access the Convention sessions, vote, and participate in the scheduled breakout sessions.
During the resolution period (September 3 - 16), you can visit sagaftra.org/resolutions to submit or endorse resolutions.
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email with your unique Convention Registration ID (password) for the 2023 SAG-AFTRA National Convention. Delegates must use the same email and Registration ID (password) provided in your Convention registration confirmation email to access the Convention website. Save this info! It is the only way you can access the Convention Lobby, the Exhibit Hall, and other special events beginning Friday, October 20! This info must not be shared with others or you will have issues accessing the system.
Email convention@sagaftra.org asking for your Registration ID (password) to be resent to you.
Most of the Convention will be browser based. However, please make sure you have access to or download the most up-to-date version of the Zoom application. Download Zoom here: zoom.us/download. You must create, or already have, a Zoom account with your name as listed when you registered for Convention so that we may accurately identify you prior to voting.
  • You will need a laptop or desktop computer for the best viewing experience.
  • Strong, reliable wifi connection.
  • We recommend that you access the Convention using the most up-to-date version of either Google Chrome or Firefox.
  • Double check your audio and camera settings - making sure they are up to date and on.
  • We recommend minimizing open browser tabs, as more tabs open is more memory used.
  • It is recommended to only stream Convention materials, to help with bandwidth.

For optimum user experience, please use a laptop or desktop computer. We do not recommend using a mobile or tablet device.
All sessions must be accessed by logging in at sagaftraconvention.org. Once you’re logged in, click Auditorium from the top menu. From the Auditorium, click the center panel to access all sessions.
Yes, you will need to log in daily using your email and Registration ID (password) to attend the Convention.
Yes, please log in and attend when available. *You will still need to register by Wednesday, October 18 at 5:00 pm PT/8:00 pm ET, to receive your unique Registration ID (password) for the Convention.
While Convention business will not be recorded, there may be special presentations or speeches recorded and shared after the Convention.
During the Convention, please visit the Helpdesk in the virtual lobby for technical assistance.

  1. USE A DESKTOP OR LAPTOP COMPUTER
    Mobile devices are not recommended for accessing the virtual Convention.
  2. CHECK FOR SOFTWARE UPDATES
    Make sure your computer has up-to-date software that lets you fully participate in the Convention.
  3. TEST YOUR INTERNET CONNECTION
    Make sure you have strong wifi and high-speed internet. Removing other devices from your wifi (while not in use) will help boost your connection speed.
  4. KEEP YOUR BROWSER UPDATED
    Make sure you use the latest version of Google Chrome (the recommended browser for Convention). Update Google Chrome here: google.com/chrome.
  5. KEEP ZOOM UPDATED
    Make sure you use the most up-to-date version of Zoom. Download or update Zoom here: zoom.us/download. Also, you must create, or already have, a Zoom account with the same name you listed when registering for Convention so we can identify you.
  6. DISABLE POP-UP BLOCKERS
    Disable pop-up blockers on your devices during the Convention. Parts of the Convention will open in new tabs or as new windows. For more information on pop-up blockers, visit support.google.com/chrome/answer/95472.
  7. WATCH FOR BROWSER ALERTS
    Outside of Zoom, most of the Convention is browser-based. No download is required. Please look out for alerts that allow your browser to access your audio, video and camera for chatting and speaking functions.   8. BOOKMARK THE CONVENTION
    Bookmark the Convention website: sagaftraconvention.org.
  9. SAVE YOUR CREDENTIALS, CHECK EMAIL
    Save the email you used to register and the Registration ID (password) provided by the SAG-AFTRA Convention registration team. Keep it handy at all times. Check your email (including spam) often.
